The paper reviews the platform of development plans in the department of Antioquia and TdeA; it presents the regionalization model in higher education and shows program statistics. Municipalities addressed are analysed, as well as academic programs, correspondence between the program and the economic vocation in town, and so on. It ends by analyzing financial issues in the regionalization model and concludes with the main challenges of the model.
