Examinando el impacto del COVID sobre el perfil psicosocial y rendimiento académico de los universitarios. Un estudio pre-post

El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar la inteligencia emocional y satisfacción vital en 69 estudiantes de Educación Social. Los resultados evidenciaron puntuaciones más altas en las variables de inteligencia emocional y satisfacción vital en la evaluación postest al comparar los valores de las medianas (Mdn pre vs Mdn post), siendo menor el rendimiento académico (Mdnpost=8.00 < Mdnpre=6.90). En relación al género en la medida pretest, se obtuvieron diferencias de rango únicamente en el factor evaluación de las propias emociones, siendo el effect size Hedges´g igual a .5996. Las consecuencias prácticas permitirán reflexionar sobre los efectos provocados por la pandemia en el contexto universitario.
