Cheese is a dairy product with a long history in the human diet. In countries such as France, cheese is one of the strongest attractions for visitors from around the globe. The cheese was thought of as only a source of energy alone; however, with advances in nutritional science, cheese has become a rich source of essential nutrients such as proteins, bioactive peptides, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. This perspective offers new insights into the nutrition analysis of various types of cheese sold in France, using advanced data visualization and analysis techniques. This article aims to raise awareness about making an informed selection of the type of cheese people should consume as a long-term measure of taking a health-conscious diet. Overall, the study provides a testbed for turophiles (cheese lovers) in selecting the right kind of cheese to relish themselves while taking care of their health condition depending on their physical condition, particularly lactose intolerance.

Chitosan is a polymeric material having properties such as adsorption and hydrophilicity. Chitosan itself is almost photocatalytically inactive, but it can couple with other photocatalysts to improve their photocatalytic activity. Chitosan significantly enhances photocatalysts' adsorption and lowers the charge carrier recombination, which ultimately aids in the enhanced photocatalytic activity. In this review, we have discussed chitosan's basic structural, electronic, and chemical properties. We have also explored the photocatalytic properties of chitosan and chitosan-based materials. Since metal-based and metal-free semiconductors are the two major classes of semiconductor photocatalysts, so we have described how chitosan can be used to enhance the limitations of metal-based and metal-free semiconductor photocatalysts. This review will help to develop a better understanding of chitosan and chitosan-based materials for photocatalysis. We have also explored the future aspects of chitosan-based photocatalytic materials to improve the research in the future.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are an emerging class of materials with unique properties such as extensive surface area, good stability, and high porosity, which facilitate their deployment in various fields of science, including nanomedicine. Numerous strategies have been proposed for designing nanoscale MOF-polymer composites with tailored properties. Polymers can be incorporated inside and outside of the MOF pores to prepare such composites. Polymers are directly grafted to the MOF wall via covalent linkages or physical coordination with the host. Though MOFs are associated with drawbacks like unrestrained liberation, placing of biomolecules/drugs, and less resilience under various physical conditions, a set of advantageous attributes have also been noticed, such as tuning capability and pore size of undecorated MOFs. Novel strategies have been developed to improve MOFs' functioning for bio-imaging, cancer treatment, and drug delivery. For this, the introduction of polymers has proved helpful in expanding the functionalities and diversities of MOFs. Owing to the benefits like a controlled release of drugs in response to extrinsic stimuli, boosted inclination towards targeted cells, intensified MOF durability, and increased biocompatibility, MOF-polymer composites are excellent sources of helpful implementation in the biomedical field. This study provides insight into the synthesis and performance of MOF-polymer composite as a novel candidate in the biomedical sector.
