A Sucessão Apostólica na Teologia da Ordem Sagrada

O Sacerdócio de Cristo não possuí uma investidura humana, mas sim uma eleição divina. A transmissão carnal da casta sacerdotal era a manifestação de uma investidura humana querida por Deus. Porém, o sacerdócio inaugurado por Cristo caracteriza-se antes por uma iniciativa de Deus para chamar ao sacerdócio. Na teologia da Ordem Sagrada, a sucessão apostólica insere-se junto ao sacerdócio de Cristo, como Seu segundo fundamento. Este ensaio visa aprofundar o papel dos Apóstolos enquanto origem da sagrada hierarquia. A sucessão apostólica é a continuidade no tempo do ministério apostólico, indispensável para a vida da Igreja. /// The priesthood of Christ is not of human investiture, but rather a divine election. The transmission through the generations of the priestly caste was a manifestation of a human investiture desired by God. However, the priesthood instituted by Christ is characterized by an initiative of God in calling to the priesthood. In the theology of Holy Orders, the apostolic succession is placed next to the priesthood of Christ, as His second foundation. This essay seeks to analyse the role of the apostles as the origin of the sacred hierarchy. The apostolic succession is the continuation in time of the apostolic ministry, indispensable to the life of the Church.
