El profetismo del Antiguo Testamento frente al ritualismo hipócrita

Resumo

Al estudiar la predicación de los profetas escritores del Antiguo Testamento nos deparamos con un tema que varios de ellos tratan: la hipocresía religiosa. El profeta es consciente de que no es posible participar del culto si no hay una verdadera conversión interior. No es compatible presentar a Dios una ofrenda y al mismo tiempo no realizar obras de caridad con los demás; elevar una plegaria al Altísimo y practicar la idolatría; implorar la misericordia divina, pero no perdonar cuando se recibe una injuria. En el presente artículo serán analizados algunos textos de los profetas que abordaron este tema y se intentará hacer una aplicación para los días de hoy. El estudio será en orden cronológico para entender mejor el curso de los hechos históricos. /// In studying the preaching of prophet writers of the Old Testament, we encounter a topic addressed by several of them: religious hypocrisy. The prophet is aware that it is not possible to participate in worship in the absence of a true interior conversion. It is incompatible to present an offering to God while failing to perform works of charity toward others; to raise a prayer to the Most High and practice idolatry; to implore divine mercy but not to forgive when an injury is received. In this article, some texts of the prophets who addressed this issue will be analyzed and an application made to the reality of today. The study is presented in chronological order to favor a better understanding of the sequence of historical events.
